The meeting between Ottica Rizzato and the creative team of Kaleos, the renowned Spanish eyewear brand, was something more: an aesthetic and human journey that led to the creation of an exclusive, limited-edition sunglasses model, available in just ten individually numbered pieces.
A unique experience in the creative heart of Barcelona
The journey began last October, inside the Kaleos showroom in Barcelona—a city alive with art, light, and contrasts. It was there we had the privilege of working side by side with Jaime Balasch and Claudia Brotons, Kaleos’ Head of Sales and Creative Director. Their aesthetic vision and innovative approach guided us in creating a piece that is more than just an accessory—it’s a story to wear.
The starting point was clear: a timeless, genderless silhouette—elegant, wearable, yet striking. What makes it unique is the bold color palette, inspired by trencadís, the vibrant mosaic technique seen across many of Antoni Gaudí’s masterpieces. A direct homage to the spirit of Barcelona, reflected in the luminous tones and iridescent finishes of the frame. The result is a collectible pair of sunglasses where design and craftsmanship merge to tell a story of style, experimentation, and identity.
