Oceans and seas, which cover 71% of the Earth’s surface, represent much more than a natural expanse to Gustavo Assis, Lapima’s creative director. Raised on the beach, by the water edge, on his surfboard, it is in the sea where he nurtures creativity and seek tranquillity to discover new path, to paddle against the tide of optical sameness, inviting men and women to broaden their perspective, dive into the different, into what is unique, like everyone, each wave. This collection was conceived during dives along Brazil’s Costa Verde, boat trips, and surf adventures. The sea, with its strength and vitality, becomes a symbol of life, celebration, and creativity.
